Working Car Fire In Jefferson

Jefferson Co. 2 was dispatched around 7am to a reported car fire on Berkshire Valley Road. Upon the chief’s arrival, it was reported that it was an Atlantic Ambulance 1st Responder Unit that was fully involved. Engine 720 was first to arrive on scene and the crew knocked down the blaze in minutes. Berkshire Valley Road was closed for about 20 minutes while crews extinguished the fire and overhauled the vehicle.
